It is fair to say society today is much more aware of sexual violence against women than it used to be. It is also justified to claim laws in many countries do not allow this kind of crime. However, it is also fair to assume the public is less aware of sexual violence against men. This crime tends to happen less frequently and is supposed to be equally punished.
