For two months, the streets in Serbia were crowded with women demanding that the interview with a convicted multiple rapist be removed from media web portals and YouTube. They succeeded, but only partially, because the interview can still be found on a few platforms. The informal group “Women’s Solidarity” has demonstrated that the public will not tolerate articles and media headlines that exploit women’s trauma.
