An independent judiciary is one of the 14 key priorities for Bosnia and Herzegovina’s accession to the European Union. Less independence means less trust. According to this year’s Corruption Perceptions Index, Bosnia and Herzegovina is the worst in the region, and has become the second worst-positioned country in Europe. Young people in Bosnia and Herzegovina expect much more from the judiciary.
