Constitutional amendments that make provide for the inclusion of the Bulgarian minority into the Macedonian constitution, as a condition for opening chapters and negotiations with the EU, are the main topic in the country. Perhaps this would not be cause for such drama if Bulgarian policy in recent years was not perceived as malicious in North Macedonia. The proposed amendments to the Constitution also foresee the inclusion of the Croatian, Montenegrin, Slovenian, Jewish, and Egyptian minorities.
