The taboo and stigma surrounding menstruation still exists in many countries. Women face the unavailability of menstrual hygiene products and inadequate conditions for maintaining daily hygiene. There is a lack of information and education about the menstrual cycle, as well as a policy for non-taxation of hygiene products. Macedonia is high on the list of countries failing to resolve these issues. But fortunately, there are those who do not remain ignorant on this issue.
