In January 2016, Russia promised Serbia the S-300 missile system. A year later, tactical missiles are being developed in the Sumadija region of Serbia. In 2021, Serbia received MIG-29 aircraft, transporters, tanks, and anti-aircraft missiles. The plan is to also buy 30 helicopters. In 2016, Croatia received artillery and 16 helicopters. In 2020, American combat vehicles, and air-to-ground missiles arrived, and recently Rafael fighter jets landed in Zagreb.
