According to the 2002 census, 14.28% of the entire Vojvodina population is made up of Hungarians. In Novi Sad they represent the second largest ethnic group. Hungarian is one of the six official languages in Vojvodina, and in schools there are separate departments for children of Hungarian nationality.
Agnes and Irena attend Hungarian departments and talk at Perspektiva about how to be Hungarian in Novi Sad and how they have contacts with children of Serb ethnicity through education.
