People of Sarajevo to refugees: “Welcome!”

Photographers, musicians and citizen of Sarajevo sent a welcoming message to refugees who are currently staying at Bosnia and Herzegovina, or are just passing through. The multimedia art program was set up in History Museum with shows called “People of Sarajevo” and “The Balkan Route”, and afterwards two concerts for support were held by Dubioza kolektiv and Helem nejse bands.

Photographer Imrana Kapetanovic brings stories from these new citizens of Sarajevo, while Marko Djurica’s exhibition shows everyday issues and situations of these people going via “Balkan route”. Apart the exhibitions and concerts, citizens of B&H could give money donations directly to organization “Pomozi.ba”, which is responsible for helping more then 1000 people since February.
