In recent years, North Macedonia has battled fires every summer. At the moment 54 fires are burning, with one house on fire as well. We spoke with the director of the Crisis Management Center (CMC), Stojanče Angelov, about the causes, consequences for nature, countless challenges on the ground, and also the help that arrives from all across the Balkans.
