SILENCE ABOUT CRIME ENCOURAGES CRIME

Thirty years ago, in February 1993, a crime was committed in Strpci, Montenegro. The Army of Republika Srpska kidnapped 20 civilians from the train “Lovćen”, line 671, which was traveling from Belgrade to Bar. At Strpci station, passengers are forced to show their ID cards. 18 of them with “non-Serb names”, a retired army officer who protested, and one person of Asian origin were murdered. The crime has been swept under the carpet, it is not talked about, and it has never been clarified who was responsible, except for the criminals themselves. Unprocessed evidence indicates that it was a “state crime”.
