It is widely believed that young people generally do not participate in elections. According to OECD data, voter turnout among young people is about 12 percentage points lower than among older voters. In Bosnia and Herzegovina, 47% of young people voted in the 2022 general elections. Two years later, in the 2024 local elections, that figure dropped to 45.3%.
