Parents with disabled children had a hell of a day yesterday when Bosnian authorities decided not to do anything for their children.
An initiative from PM Maja Gasal – Vrazalica was declined yesterday in Bosnian Parliament. She submitted the initiative last year after a tragic death of a 10-year old boy Konstantina Stjepica on Majevica, near Lopare and she was given a promise by responsible minister from Civil affairs Ministry that there will be money left in budget for GPS bracelets.
Those weren’t additional founds, but Maja suggested that they allocate 200 000 (BAM) from already granted founds for culture in amount of 3 million (BAM); then she suggested a public call within NGO sector to chose an NGO that deals with disabled children and persons. That one NGO would be responsible for procuring those bracelets. But, PMs from SDA (Democratic Action Party) and HDZ (Croatian Democratic Community) don’t care about disabled children, or their issues.
This is a shameful move by authorities. They are directly endangering lives of persons with autism and disabilities and with this kind of behavior they demonstrate that they serve only to themselves and their positions.
To make thing even clearer, what our authorities have in store for us, yesterday, on federal level, all amandments from the Left have been declined, amongst them: financing House for parents, education of children with disabilities, disabled war veterans…
A PM from DF (Democratic Front), Dzevad Adzem submitted an initiative for allocating founds for education of autistic children in amount of 200 000 BAM; his colleague Amra Kunovac submitted iniciative for financing a House for Parents; etc. All of these amandments were declined by force and cruelty of Democratic Action Party and Croatian Democratic Community that are terrorizing the weakest groups in our society! They want apartheid for us and our children, while their children are educated on world renowned universities and they have one common goal: complete isolation from society of all children with disabilities, sick children and all of people with disabilities.
All of this was happening yesterday, covered by statements about queen of Balkan, presidential visits, receptions on airports and similar (meaning visit of Croatian president Kolinda Grabar Kitarovic). While public was busy by this kind of news there was a battle in federal and state Parliament and the end result is complete defeat of rights, justice and democracy. When I remember the shameful statement from CIN (Center for Investigative Reporting) about fees for separated living, about urgency to increase them, about apartments and everything else that is meant for our PMs, I want to scream and I see myself as a giant dinosaur stepping on buildings, institutions, agencies, all fictitious institutions founded to serve them and their goals and tearing them down. Yesterday they said it loud and clear. They are saying to us, parents with disabled children: “Get out of this country, this is not place for you!”
We, the citizens of this country, this entity, we pay our taxes filling the budget and we do it for them, because they are like leeches in this system, sucking the life out suffering nation. They don’t miss anything because they are keeping their positions for 20 years now and have provided for their grandchildren.
Shame on you, the ruling coalition, whose children are you mistreating?
