Equalizer is helping youth in North Macedonia

Global humanitarian network Equalizer is expanding its reach among young players in North Macedonia. It is an Israeli idea which uses youth love for football to teach them more and provide fairer education which is financed by Equalizer.

Equalizer is basically a program which uses football as a tool to improve lives of children in many ways. Above all with education, healthy and athletic lifestyle. We all love football. I loved football and football took me to wonderful places in life. And that is why we want for Macedonian children to become a part of international Equalizer program, in order to improve their skills and lifestyle in general.

So far Equalizer was supported by many celebrities. Gareth Bale, Gary Neville and prince Harry are just some of the famous people who support Equalizer.

Idea of Equalizer is very good and we thought it will be great to apply it to Macedonia. Because this is a country with potential, there are many children who can train but also need assistance. This is a way to enable them to train and improve their education. That is why we selected Macedonia. This project is originally from Israel, but is slowly spreading all over the world and many other countries. Most importantly, project is being developed in neighboring Serbia.

Idea of Macedonian leadership is to rely on experiences of countries where Equalizer functions already, in order to develop quickly among youth in Macedonia.

Here project is still in development. Some time ago we found out about their work in Israel and we decided to carry it out here too. We made first contact. Project team has been selected, and schools where project will be implemented have been selected as well for the most part. We are in daily communication with founders of this project from Israel, because it is very important to get their expertise, especially in this phase.

Israel, Hungary, Serbia and some Latin American countries are so far on the Equalizer map. It remains to be seen whether Macedonia will join them.
